another new member
Hello everyone, new to this site and new to owning a Ford. Awesome site.
I have a 1989 Mustang GT with a rebuilt 302, 5 speed, mac cold air intake, underdrive pulleys, bassani exhaust with x pipe, 5 bolt conversion kit, baer 4 wheel disc brakes, 17 inch Cobra R rims, Hurst short throw shifter, and a few more goodies.
looking for more power outta this car. Not very familiar with Fords, this is the first i have ever owned but i Love it! Not sure on the hrsp rating on it as of now, not sure what they were stock.
Am i better off boring and stroking this 302? or getting a 351 and boring and stroking it? what kind of hrsp am i looking at after? or maybe bolt up a super charger? if so whats the best brand? If anyone has anymore suggest im open to pretty much anything. What ever makes this car faster then it all ready is.

Welcome to the site. If you bore the 302 to a 306, do a set of heads,cam,holley systemmax intake,70mm throttle body, and a Vortech pushing 10LBS of boost you should be good for about 450,we have a local guy here in town pushing 460hp with this setup and a tune.
If you want all motor a 331 stroker's a nice choice too.
