Default New from Canada

Hi guys,
I just wanted to take the time to introduce myself and hopefully get some info. I just traded in my car, please save the bashing, it was an 06 Cobalt SS/SC, with some decent mods, I liked it. So I pickup up an SUV for the family and I want to also pick up a used Mustang for myself to toy with. Hopefully someone can give some suggestions, what yr would be the best, pre 2004?

Welcome to MF! It's about time you come to your senses and choose to buy a real muscle car. Nothing better than the sound of a V8 rumble.

Deciding which year is totally up to you and your budget. I personally like the New Edge Mustangs (99-04) the best. They are all great Mustangs just find the one you like and buy. Good luck!

welcome to the forum and IMO the 99-2004 is a great 2V modular motor but I love the sound of the pushrod 5.0L motors.......I had an 87 and a 93 and the sound is so much better then any other yr IMO. I love the sound of my 06 but you will read many that try to duplicate the sound of a pushrod while owning a modular motor......just not going to happen! So get what you can afford and welcome to the real muscle car world!

Cobalt and SUV... NOT WELCOMED HERE GET OUT

just kidding.
You can find a 99/2000 for like 6,000 with 60,000 mi if you keep an eye out, or you could spend 15k on a mach1... choice is yours but yeah you get what you pay for. 99-04 GTs are cheap right now though since they've been replaced by 2 newer models.

Welcome to MF

ps. I'd drive a supercharged 4 cyl...

It all depends on what body style you want, if you want to mod it I would suggest finding a clean fox....

Welcome to the forums, Im also from Ontario

Welcome! Like others have said, its all what you want/can afford. I love the 03 Term(Cobra) but I also love the 98 GT body style. Good luck with your decision and come back here and post a picture if you get one!

I would recommend a 01-04 out of the years for a new edge. And welcome to the forums.
