Ford missed this one!
Hey all I got one for ya...
When you get your 2005 polished up, I mean really polished, so it looks like a mirror finish, take about 6-10 steps back from the driver's side...... Look directly at your reflection in the paint on the driver's side and if you move to the right spot, you will notice how your reflection is broken up by the top body line (below the mirror) and you will see your head in the top section and your feet in the next section, but no body... If you move back and forth it's like one of those "funny mirrors" you stood in front of at the amusement parks years ago (do they still have them?).....
I had my Stang parked in the garage and was looking to see if I wanted to do another coat of polish and noticed how I saw my head on top, but only my feet just below and thought it was really funny... I'm very strange anyhow, so it was a few minutes of entertainment, in a rather boring life - (4 coats on the hood, roof, trunk & 2 on the sides and a coat of Poly-Shine to top it off)...
I am the proud owner of a new 2005 Redfire Pearl Metallic Mustang... Just the base model, (V6, 5speed), but that's all I need, at 50+ years, probably don't need it to pick up chicks and my racing consisit of "hey I got it through the gears without missing one"..... I've had other Mustangs, but these new ones are SWEET.... Paid $19,900 sticker and around here that was cheap... Every other local dealer I contacted wanted $1,500 above sticker for a base model and $2,500-3,500 above sticker for a GT... Amazing...... & people standing in line to get one......

RE: Ford missed this one! Must read...
Sorry, my sense of humor is unfortunately different from most people... Just thought it was funny that a Mustang body can also double as an amusement park mirror....
What I meant by polish is, that wax is for a final coat. Polish is meant to be built up in several coats. The more you put on, the deeper the finish becomes and then you finish with a hard wax.... Then the finish becomes much like a mirror... After all that time polishing you stand back and see this short wide person, just a head and feet, in the paint and I had to laugh, since I'm tall and thin... Sorry...
I don't have any pictures of mine, but it's just a stock 2005 V6... With a little chrome on it...
