hello, i'm a long time mustang driver but new to the site. i have been on the site of couple of times and have found it very useful.
my very first car was a '69 mustang coupe. it has a 302-v8 with automatic transmission. i paid $1000 since it was wrecked in the rear. it took a year of working on it on the weekends (and saving the cash needed) before it was drivable.
i drove it for most of my 7 year college career. about 18 months after i graduated and was working i replaced it with a new '95 mustang gt convertible (yellow/black).
now a days i am driving a '96 mustang gt convertible (no modifications).
20 years later i still have the '69 mustang and have gone through a couple of others.
1st: 69 mustang coupe (red)- still have
2nd: 95 mustang gt convertible (yellow/black) - totaled
3rd: 95 mustang gt convertible (green/beige)- totaled
4th : 96 mustang gt convertible (red/beige)– still have
5th: 09 g37s (blue/graphite)
Thanks,
Joel
