New member with a 93 fox and dreams of grandeur
hey I just bought a 93 mustang and figured this site looked like a good resource.
about me
I'm an electronics technician, I have been dreaming of owning a fox body for years and now I have finally got one. I'm fairly handy but no mechanic. With a little help and some pointers I can probably do most of the stuff Id like to do to the car myself. As a side note I fix amps and stuff, I'm trying to get into ecm repair.
about the car
Its a red 1993 mustang lx Hatchback. Its a 5 speed with a 302. other than a few small scratches and dents its pretty clean. there are only a few small rust spots. bodywork is in the cross hairs for this winter. Its got about 130k on it but runs pretty good still. I'm planning on a rebuild/motor build this winter also. The goal for a build would be a very street able high torque motor that is injected and smooth, rather than finicky beast, my dad thinks I should do a 347 stroker with some head work on the stock heads and a street cam. Anyway Iv never build a motor before surely will have a lot of questions.
Anyway thanks for reading and if you have any advice or comments I will read them.
