Greetings from the UK
Hi all,
My name is John and I'm 23 currently living in Oxford, England. Big fan of Mustangs and I am hoping to source one soon but I am obviously running into a million problems. I am hoping there may be other members here from England who can share experiences in shipping the car and parts etc.
I prefer the 65 to 69's...In the UK most people my age drive small euro boxes which are becoming increasingly similar...I'd like to bring a change. The only Mustangs we have in the UK are 3.0 V6 2005's which is a shame!
I currently drive a car Americans don't have. A Ford Puma. The Steve McQueen advert is pure class!

Mine is a 1.7 in moondust silver and has about 125 BHP which isn't bad for a stock FWD. Still I am planning on keeping my Puma and building a Mustang as modifying a Puma is ridiculously expensive (Try £4000 /$6500 just to upgrade the engine to a 2.0 200BHP).
So although I have spent hours scouring these forums at work and at home I often think it is good to ask questions directly myself so I will mostly be hanging around the Classic section.
Thanks for putting a great site together, I hope to become an important member for the UK!
Cheers,
John

Welcome to the forums John. There are a few in the classic section from your "neck of the woods." Kalli comes to mind. Make a post in the General Discussion Section and I'm sure he can give you some pointers.
That's a funny commercial.
