Hello there, everybody. I've had my 2009 V6 Deluxe coupe for about seven months now, but I've only recently joined this forum.
Between the facts that I bought the car in the winter, after a major auto show here in Pittsburgh, and the refreshed 2010's were on the way, I was able to get an excellent deal on this car. Not really having any desire for the added features of the Premium, or ABS, I opted for a plain jane base car with a manual transmission and a black interior. The only cars they were able to track down that fit that criteria all had the Sport Appearance Package, though I was happily surprised that this particular car had come without tape stripes. It's a good thing, though, because I'm sure I would have ended up adding some basic, OEM or OEM-style spoiler if the car hadn't come with one.
At this point, I've added a K&N intake and Steeda throttle body spacer under the hood, along with a KS Reproductions front strut tower brace. On that note, I've also recently added a takeoff GT rear sway bar. The only thing I've done inside is get some silver tinsel welt to go along the dash and on the door panels. Outside, I've put on the no-name "black front turn signals" from American Muscle, the plug-in Webelectric sequential tail light harnesses, Stack Racing 8" antenna and black tail light trim, and a magnetic blackout panel. I got some clear Laminx for the front lights, and I've cut and programmed a Fusion key.
From here, I plan on, at some point, doing a few other minor things in the not-too-distant future - I might replace the magnetic blackout panel with a plastic one, and it's probably about time to seriously consider a tuner. I'm thinking about getting out to a few autox events starting in the spring, so I'm considering LCAs and getting some GT springs and stiffer struts and shocks. Between the very reasonable cost of tires, and the fact that I've got a set of winter wheels and tires, I'm not really planning on getting rid of the 16" wheels, unless I decide that the 1" bigger GT front rotors are worth replacing those wheels and tires. Also, at some point, I'll get around to doing something with the audio - some head unit that I can hook a USB hard drive up to, and Kenwood speakers all around.
And, after bearing with me through all of that spiel, here's some pics for anyone who's interested:
