Just got 66
Hello, i just bought a 66 289 coupe, it has a little rust in different areas, rebuilt engine 45,000 miles ago, good transmission, and descent interio, I was wondering about how much they usually sell for. It also has its original engine. When I get it to the house I am going to give it a tune up, it has water in the gas tank and will not rev up high or I think that is the problem. After that I am going to start working on the littile rusty areas. One is under the back driver door which I will probably bondo. Anything I can replace with sheet metal I will. Then i am going to try and beef the engine up a little bit. I want to be able to get around 300hp easily and not ave to change the tranny. Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks
