New Mexico Newbie
Hello all. I just purchased a new (to me) '05 Mustang GT. This is my first "sports car", and I am loving it. I've been into bikes my whole life and have owned several. I currently have a 05 HD FLHRS... road king custom. I've been on HD forums for quite a while, and haven't spent much time looking at much else, but when I heard this mustang start up, and realized that it was all most as loud as my bike, I knew it was the one for me. I do not know much about the performance aspects of this vehicle, but did work a few years as a mechanic, so I'm not completely in the dark. I do all my own work, up to this point, but feel a little overwhelmed with this car. And that comes from a guy that has completely rebuilt the engine on his Harley, and performed several add ons that the MoCo said could not be done. But this is all new, am I am eager to figure out what I am doing.
The car had some work done to it by the previous owner. It has 38k miles on it. I looked a couple things over and realized that the entire exhaust has been replaced, along with the addition of a cold air intake, and a 62mm throttle body. I know the car has an aftermarket tune on it, but I have no idea what it is. Obviously buying a tuner is tops on my list, but the car runs great, sounds great, as seems to be faster than most...but that has yet to be proven.
I look forward to learning what I can, and thanks for any advice.

Thank ya! Let me know what's going on, and is there any way for me to locate any forum members that are in my current state of New Mexico? I'd like to be able to talk to some folks who know more about these cars than I do...maybe meet up, and such. I tried to figure a way to search members by location, and have not figured it out.
