Newbie from South Texas
Good morning!
Bought a silver 08 GT new and am having a ball with it! It's still under warranty so I'm careful not to modify anything since I'm afraid of messing it up. I'm not mechanically inclined, but do listen to the gearheads at work who almost had me puttin' catback Basani's on it and maybe new deepdish wheels/tires just for cosmetic reasons.
That's when I learned that I've got great stock tires, and I really love the sound of it already! So, I've only added rally stripes, louvres, and a 3rd brake light Mustang sticker. The newness has worn off and I now realize that with gas prices what they are, there's no need to have to smoke the idiots I deal with on our roads here. It's nice to know I've got the power if I need it! I'll stick to the cosmetic stuff right now.
I'm in the aviation business and expect to be moving to Dallas within a couple of weeks. I'm a foodie in my spare time and love feeding folks!!!!
