I drive a Dodge Hemi Charger....
But don't hate on me, because i only bought it because its a hitch car and I needed something I can have more fun in than a truck that doubles as a Foxbody racecar hauler. Just finished paying for my, in need of an engine transplant 5.0 Foxbody and would appreciate any help or push in the right direction.
Also is that 2011 5.0 DOHC worth the wait?

It is very much worth it. You can get all the info you need from this months issue of 5.0 Magazine. The article name is "Coyote Beautiful."
There is still room left on the table to get more power out of this thing. 412hp from this motor is nothing.
If SHM can make a 405hp 4.6L 01' Cobra with just porting, stage 1 cams, and LT's with an Xpipe running 91oc then I don't see why we cant see a lot more with just a good tune, LT's and maybe some exhaust work on the head.
I wouldn't doubt that we can see 450hp with just minor upgrades and tuning. Now Ford did say that they made the tune much more aggressive than before but I am willing to bet that there is still room to improve.
Ford said that a larger twin TB would have only netted 3hp more over the current one, they also left room on the table for the intake to be improved upon somewhat.
10 original cast aluminum intakes were made and at least 1 of them has the twin TB.
I bet someone will grab that and make a copy as an upgrade.
I would bet a revised intake with twin TB or oval would net 10-15hp if just the TB alone netted 3hp. That was the twin 57mm I think, I will have to look back at my magazine.
These heads already outflow the GT500 on the intake side but come in slightly behind on the exhaust side.
They say there isn't much room to work with but I can see from the photos that there is some room to improve with a little porting and 1mm oversize valves.
Between revised intake and oval TB, P&P heads 1mm os valves, LT heads and a good tune on E85 that we could probably even hit 500hp.
I cant wait till people start playing with them.
OH and we shouldn't forget that Ford was so kind as to allow the bosses and spaced needed to future upgrades like the Eco-Boost Direct Injection (right now its a poor mans DI, little higher up so passive low lift fuel to prevent cyl washing) and bosses up front for SC purposes and a second row for another belt on the dampener to accommodate the SC.
The stock rods and pistons are the same powder forged and hyp castings that we are use to and probably wont do too well under boost. Though one interesting thing is that these are Nice'N light.
Ford says that the rod, piston, pin and ring combo weights in at just "1 kilo" and works better for improved bearing life.
I know there will be people to put a supercharger on these with the stock 11:1 pistons and rods and yes, they may get away with 4-6psi and maybe 8-10 on E85/race fuel but who knows how long it will last...
"RUMOR!"
Saleen already has their hands on some forged goodness and rumored power levels are going to be between 550hp and 720hp, the 720 coming from the SMS concept.
Though the motor is 5.0L and the block is aluminum, this is not the coyote.
Time will tell.
