I am a current highschool senior and a couple months ago I purchased my first car, an '89 Foxbody. It has a stock 302 modified with a trickflow intake and a b303 cam. For a transmittion it has a T5 standard. It has been a great car until not long ago I was on the highway and my hood blow up at 70mph. The reason for this inncident was that one of my key- locking hood pins broke off under intense pressure. My car has a cowl induction hood which took a toll on my cowl when the hood flew back into it. It complete smashed my windshield and put three big dents in the front of my roof. I have been working at it with my friend and so far we have managed to remove the cowl and prepare to weld on a new one. I hope to finish it soon and am glad to join the mustang community!
