Default Just finding may way here.

Hello all mustang enthusiasts! Just trying out the forum to see if I can pick up some helpful tips. Alittle about myself, I have been a Mustang Lover ever since I can remember. I love the 69-70 Stangs. Just could never find a good rust free one from around here. So After I graduated I saved up and bought a brand new 88 5.0 LX. It was ordered in with all options except AC. The car has never seen snow and has the original paint. It is my baby and is mint. I was bitten by the 1/4 mile bug three years ago and started running the 5.0 hard. I didn't have the heart to keep driving it like that so I picked up a 90 4Cyl Stang for $300.00. Now here is what I did. I installed a 4bolt 351 Cleveland from a 71 Torino. It has ported Aussie iron heads, wieand excelerator intake, KB 13cc dished pistons giving me 10 to 1 comp for pump gas. Heddman 17/8 long tube hedders, Promotion straight cut face tooth 5spd tranny, 4.30 gears, flat solid cam, 750 dblpumper, complete msd ign, stock crank and rods, frpp alum drive shaft, et drag 28X10.5 on 15 X 10 Pro stars, 3 In exhaust, and no power adders. To date it has run a best of 10.91@124MPH on supreme pump gas with a 1.52 60 ft time. I had it out today trying to dial in the new rear suspension and was realy disappointed. Do slicks not do well on the street? I was only trying to dial in the rear suspension but this thing would only G-tech 12.30 @ 121 mph with major wheel spin in 1st and 2nd gear. It is my first attempt at building everything from the engine(I did all the work excluding porting the heads) and did everything else to the car, paint, body and drive line. My first time to the drag strip it went 11.24 @ 121 on et streets before tuning. Should i just save tuning the rear suspension at the track or will this thing hook on the street? Thanks and hope I can learn from all of you.
