Hi new here! With some questions.
Hey everyone. Great forums here. Im looking into getting a Mustang. 1999-2004 model year.
I cant decide between V6 Convertible and a GT Coupe. GT Convertible is out of my price range right now.
I live in Florida so its great vert weather here most of the year. I cant decide and its killing me! In a good way though.
Well nice to be here.

Hey, I'm in Florida too. I would say go with the vert V6... but most others would probably disagree with that. I may be biased since I have a V6, but those cares seriously have a lot of potential. It's not uncommon for a V6 to have over 300 horsepower with the right stuff done to it. Plus, with the gas prices down there the way they are, I don't think you can go wrong with the V6.
But either way you go, it's a Mustang, and you should be proud.

with the right mods it can go faster than the stock GT anyday of the week.
and cheaper insurance too.
welcome to the forums btw..

Anyone can have a stock GT...not everyone can have a GT Killah!
Think of it this way, by getting a v6, you'll save money on the car, with gas prices, and by having cheaper insurance. With that extra money to throw around you can modify it if you choose.
I think you'd be happy with it. Especially being a 'vert and living in Florida. You could get a nice tan.

Get the vert! I have a v6 and I love it- I would like to have v8, sure, but if you're low on cash (and you want a mustang...) this is the way to go. There are plenty of mods out there for v6 stangs and everyone loves a nice looking stang vert.

Don't want to sound off here, but verts are really nice however they are also very hot in the summer months. I spent most of my time riding with the top up and AC on. But they are nice. V6 is definately the way to go with the prices on insurance and gas that seems to be a given. Either way you will enjoy just having a Stang...

Well I was thinking top up and AC on all day. Then at night when it cools off top down in late afternoon/night.
Besides from November to May here we see no rain and its 70-80 and breezy. I cant wait!
