Newb : Back in the game!
Greetings!
Monday the 19th, I picked up a 2007 CS /GT in Vista Blue. It is , to coin a phrase, my mid life crisis moment.
Some basic info, from 1977 to 1987 I worked in Ford dealerships, primarily in Parts and Service. I was a parts counterman and a parts manager. I STILL can list part numbers from many models as well as Mustang stuff.
Back then I owned a 66 Hi-Po Pony Coupe and I started to restore it. THEN, my son came along and I decided to go back to college for better job security. Sold the Pony to finance college.
Now I'm a school teacher and I coach as well. My kids are gone and the time was right to get another Mustang.
I'm not a performance guy. I like to keep my tinkering to a minimum. I just want something that looks good, drives fast and is relatively maintenance free. I'm sure I'll get a lot of info here as well as from other sources.
Here are the first pics of my new ride.
Just given a bath in preparation of a trip to the body shop. Getting new Cobra stripes and new white CS / GT stripes. She's there as we speak and I can't wait!

Welcome I just joined myself returning to the game. I had a 67 Cougar, my wife and I had a 88 GT and 95 GT. Started shopping for a late 60's cougar. But a higher authority wanted creature comforts and safety features. Patience, compromise, more Patience. My wife picked out this car for me last month. Could not be happier, love the car and got a rock'n deal. ENJOY!!
