Quick introduction(with pics) and a couple questions on 93/94 differences
I know that the upper and lower intake are different. What I'm wondering is below them, as in block, heads, compression, pistons, crank, cam, valve springs, water pump, accessory mounting holes/locations, etc. I have a 98 GT that I bought new and an 06 GT that bought new. I do all of my own work and know a lot about them, but I've never owned a 5.0 untill 2 weeks ago. Just bought a 93 notch, original 4 cylinder that had recently got a 5.0 swap(and few other goodies). Motor, trans, rearend, and harness are from a 89 GT, but I got another motor with the purchase and was told it was a 94. It has origianl paint and interior with 94k on the odometer(I need to get a GT cluster because the 4 cyl. isnt accurate). Just trying to learn as much as I can about the 5.0's. I absolutely love this notch!!!! Bad thing is, I bought it for my daughter. So now I think I'm gonna try and find a notch for me too. I'm on ModdedMustangs a lot and have been for almost 5 years, but wanted to come over here and talk with you guys too. I plan on searching and reading older threads for a few hours. Anyway, sorry for rambling. Glad to be a member of this forum. Looks like an awesome place!!
The pics are before I did anything to it, including wahsing. It had been sitting in a guys garage for months.
Just got an extra upper intake, egr spacer, and throttle body. I cleaned them really good and laying on some paint now. Heres a couple shots before the clear.
Cant decide what to do with the 5.0 plate. I just scrubbed all the paint off of it for now and sat it on there to see how it looks.

OK, so can you move this to the 5.0 general discussion instead of new member area though. I do have some tech questions I would like it to be in the 5.0 section so the guys with 5.0 knowledge can help me. Thanks
