2.3 Owner here
Hello, I've been a Mustang fan for as long as I've been driving. My first car was an '82 4-banger, and a few years later I bought an '89 2.3 since I couldn't afford a 5.0 at the time. I have had the '89 for 14 years, and it has been a very reliable car (take that toyota!) with 145k miles. I haven't had it on the road since 2005, but recently I have been getting it ready to put back on the road.
One thing I am glad about is how many parts are available for fox body Mustangs, at least many of the parts are interchangable between the 4 bangers and the 5 liters. One day I am hoping to drop a 5 liter in my pony, but in the meantime it's baby steps since my money is limited.
I am sure you guys will be seeing a lot of me in the 4 cylinder forums on the near future, I can sure use some help.

Thanks for the welcome everybody. As of right now I plan on keeping the car original, for as much as it would cost to change it to a 5 liter I could just simply buy one without the work, although the thought of doing it would be fun.
