New owner - Just picked up a 10 GT Vert
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to say Hi. I just picked up a 2010 GT Premium Vert.
I'll answer the first question that I'm sure most people hear when they get the 2010...Why didn't I get the 11 5.0.
First, I did test drive a 5.0 coupe they had there. Loved it...loved the 6speed and the shifter. I had originally went in there to either purchase an 11 or 10 coupe. I've owned one vert car before and loved it...so I took this one for a test drive and loved it w/the top down. That's what sold me on the vert.
If it were between the 11 coupe or 10 coupe...I would have definitely gotten the 11, but since I decided to go vert...I went with the 10. Why? - Money.
I got a good deal on the 10 (obviously under invoice) plus the 0% for 72. Taking the 0% for 72 vs say 5-7% already saved me $7200 over the 6 years. The 11 Vert GT Premium would have just been too much per month...I could afford it, but I'm more comfortable w/my payments on the 10 and 0%.
I do sometimes think...should I have gotten the 11 5.0 coupe...but that quickly goes away when I go for a ride w/the top down!
