Hello I am 15 years old and will be getting my license soon and I want it to get my hatchback red machine going as fast as possible by then. I currently have a 1988 GT 5.0 custom candy apple red clear coated paint with 17in chrome Cobra R wheels. Modifcations include offroad H-pipe, mac headers, flowmasters, king cobra clutch, march ram air, short throw shifter....what else should I put on to make big HP. Sounds mean looks great and is quick but quick isn't fast, whats recommended?

you either need a tune up or rebuild or something cause that should be running well over the definition of fast to a 15 year old. i wish i could get a bone *** stock 5.0 when im driving in 3 months...consider yourself lucky.

...gears will help, but if you want big hp, you need a power adder. I recommend a supercharger.Gears alone will help minimally.
