Possible Future owner with a few questions
Hi all. I am currently stationed in Japan, and will be PCSing back to the states in Jul 2011. I have been looking heavily at getting a 2011 GT possibly with the RTR package at a dealer. Does anyone know what level of trim on the GT is required to get the RTR package? Any help would be great. The other question is definitely opinionated. Would you choose a 2011 GT or the upcoming BMW 1M?

I definitely like the new GT, but they don't have them over here (even for display at the Exchange Car Sales). I have no real "gauge" except for the internet and word of mouth. I am doing everything I can to try to make the right decision. This will probably be my last car for at least 10 years, so I want.
1. Reliability
2. Uniqueness
3. Retain value
4. Aftermarket support (negates retaining value )
I have seen the stats that the GT is on par with the M3 for 20K less, but last 2 Fords I owned had real bad interiors. Those were years ago, and I have heard a lot of positive things about new Fords Fit and Finish. That is the number one reason my wife is getting a 11 Edge Sport topped out with all available goodies. I have been following the 1 Series forums for awhile, and the 1M is going to be pretty killer, but we are guessing that it might MSRP for 47K?!!? So, any help that you all can provide would be great. I am not biased towards either car, and pretty much this same post is going up on 1addicts. BTW I love Ford so much that I own stock!! They didn't take the money, which makes them golden to me
