I'm sure that '67 has been parted out long ago....it barely ran when I had to sell it. Think I got 600 bucks for it. That car was a catastrophe from day one, but I put every penny I had into it to get it running better. It was one of the ones that we've all had. Put 50 bucks into a part, and that new part would stress all the old ones. Next week you'd be picking up a new and different 50 dollar part. Pops laughed at me the entire time. Ma' wouldn't get in it again after she saw I needed to pump the brakes 10 or so times to get it to stop. Seatbelts? Nope, they didn't put them in this year...(excuse made for the cops, but worked on mom too).

Typical series of events for what I used to call the nightmare. New transmission, light weight flywheel...higher stall converter...spent saved allowance and McDonalds job money on it....and it lasted a week. Starter gear grenaded and knocked out teeth on the new flywheel...it would skip and make huge noises if I accelerated too fast.

She was a 289, but she had 9 spark plugs. One was wedged tightly into the vacuum system because the diaphragm was ripped and the engine wouldn't run without it.

Was sad to see her go, but it had to happen.



Angelina, you vape too! Nice, so there will be no real excuse to put a few more miles on your girl when the Vegas trip gets planned. Either Vapefest Vegas or a nice ride with a bunch of people here....gotta get some miles on that one you have.

She doesn't mind me vaping in her at all She has never been smoked in!
I restored a 74 GTO that had been smoked in and it was disgusting and did quite a bit of interior damage.
