If you are already wondering then the GT is the way to go. I drove one of the new 5.0's and could not believe how awesome it was!!!

Drive them both and then decide! I would be shocked if you didn't get the GT.

Can't wait to see your Stang! post pics as soon as you pick it up.

Also if there are any dealers who are friendly to forum members I'd be happy to do business with one. I'm in central TX but would travel for the right deal.

Thanks. I've been a Ford truck guy for a long time but have never had a 'stang. I'm thinking this will be awesome.
Honestly, its all up to you and what you prefer/like/etc? For example, personally, I would never buy a Mustang in V6. When you ask why, I'll simply say its a muscle car. Muscle Cars are known to have large V8's in them, with that great V8 rev. In my head it doesn't click when I see a Mustang and its a V6, they don't have that muscle car sound/feel/and performance. By the way, I didn't mean to offend any of the V6 Mustang owners here, its just my personal preference so please excuse me if I offended you, I didn't mean too. But yeah anyway, its really up to you and what you can afford and what you like. But whatever you do, I just recommend that you get that beast of a car in Manual! I hope you enjoy your new car!

Went to drive the car today.

You're right: it's a GT for me. Looking at the following:

Kona Blue GT Premium, saddle leather (could do black)
Brembo package
3.73 LSD

My goal is to get that for under $32K. May be tough, but I'm a tough negotiator and willing to travel to get the deal.

One more question: I'd like to get a double stripe down the middle. Not sure if I'll do white or black.

What's the best way to get that done, and what should I expect it to run?

Thank you.
