new 2010 mustang gt owner
Just got back from the dealer a little while ago. Went with the intention of getting a 2011 5.0. but after test driving both cars fully loaded and looking at the price difference i decided to go with the 2010. plus they didn't have the 2011 in grabber blue
this is the 2010 mustang gt prem with shaker audio system, 3.73 rear end, hood scoop, the works. oh and of course its a manual. and yes for those wondering the 2011 5.0 i test drove had a 3.73 rear end too.
to be honest i wasn't that impressed with the 5.0, yes its fast, yes its faster than the 4.6, but there wasn't as big of a difference as i thought there would be.not big enough for me to pay the premium for the new model anyway.
basically i saw this 2010 on the lot and it was like love at first sight, the color was eye catching, the appearance package looks great, and its loaded with all the features i want, and got it for mucho dinero less than the 2011.
ill post pictures tomorrow when its day light.

well i turned off traction control last night and the advance track. turning right i punched it and went horizontal across two lanes. it hauls some serious ***. puts a big *** grin on my face when i accelerate. keep in mind that your going to lose mileage going to 3.73 and the 4.10 would be even worse. so you might want to balance that with your acceleration wants. i haven't had the car long enough to know what kind of mileage ill get. it has the 19 inch rims though, if you have 18's or larger than 19's thats going to affect your over all ratio. you want to consider that when swapping your diff. if you were going to go with 20's or larger id go with the 4.10, if your staying 19 or lower id go for the 3.73.
