Default Got me a Mustang that needs some fixxin!

Hi everybody! My names is Rob. I just got a Mustang from a good friend, only because it was gonna cost him more then he wanted to spend on it to fix it up. Now hold your horses people, this pony can still graze in the pasture, but defenatly can't run on the track.....yet! See my good buddy is kind of cheap, and unfortunatly he doesn't have much money either. So I took up an offer that was very hard to refuse. I said " I buy it from ya buddy, and get her fixed somethin proper." So that' s what I'm doin. I have done quite a bit to tbhe car already and need to do more, but I need to get this engine figured out. See it's got a problem with the throttle, and I have done a few things that have helped it a bit, but not like I want. I will post another thread about this problem cause well this is a meet and greet thread. So keep an eye open for more from me. I have to go tinker on my pony and bust my knuckles some.

Hey thanks guys and thanks to everyone who has yet to say howdy. Well I found this forum though an online search and it was like first on the search list. I work on my own motorcycles and have memberships with corisponding forums for those bike( If you would like to know what I got please feel free to ask), and I have gotten alot of good advice from other members on those site, so I thought " why not do the same with my car?". I'm sorry to say that I may not be has knowledgeable on the Mustang as most( if not all ), of you are, but I will learn. I have an older friend who has taught me alot about cars from helping him work on his 1972 Chevy Nova that he races at Martin dragway here in Michigan. I have yet to do any souping up to my car, because it is all stock. I have been shopping around though and I'm sure you guys will inform me as to the things I can do to her. So I really hope I can get some great advice on how to make this horse rumble.
