Hey everyone. Im new to the forum. Just bought a 2011 Mustang GT. The name is Michael, im from sunny Tampa. I am currently deployed to Iraq, as I am in the Air Force. They have a program here for military members which gives us an extra rebate on certain automobiles. Soooo I was like wtf, Ill buy a new 5.0... Soooo Im not going to pick it up until I get back, but it is currently being built and will be delivered to me around the middle of March and honestly, I cant wait!!!! I look foreword to getting to know everyone...

Thanks for the welcome guys. And yes I am glad im in Iraq and not Afghanistan. Definitely not complaining there. But either way I cant wait to get home to pick up my car. I just got the email about an hour ago with the VIN number for my car. It just made me even more excited to get home!!

So, what extras did you get on your 5.0? Nav, brembo, louvers, side scoops, etc.?

I think thats all the options. I wish I could have got the Brembo brakes with the Cali Special Pkg but they wouldnt do it. So I guess Ill be upgrading the brakes some time.

o.O Those options are exactly what I was thinking you should have gotten. The brembo brakes are an easier upgrade after purchase than having to put the CS front end on a GT.

Thanks mang. Yeah Letheal Performance has the Brembo Kit for $1389. But I might go with something else that way I can upgrade all 4 and not just the front. We'll see. I wana gett he Dark Stainless grill to replace the chrome one that comes with the C/S. Im not big on chrome. And then a CAI and tuner, and an exhaust, just not sure which brands I wana go with yet for everything.

I have the Ford dark chrome grille on my 11, it is like your grille on the GT/CS but it isn't all chrome and disgustingly shiny.

I would go with big brakes on all 4 wheels, just for the looks lol.
