New guy from Oshawa , ON
Hey Im from Oshawa , 21 yrs old and im looking into purchasing my second mustang gt ... sold my last one to save up for a newer / lower mileage one ... im debating on getting a 1999-04 mustang gt or a 05-09 mustang gt , I will only look at manual trans ones and hard tops .... i want to lightly mod mine with full exhuast , air intake , under drive pulleys , throttle body , tune , short throw shifter and tires and maybe a clutch but thats last on the list .... which vehicle should i go with ??? i want to break into the 12's which car should i go for ? help me please !!

The S197 ('05-'11) GT are probably my favorite cars of the later year Mustangs. Comfortable and more ergonomic than the SN95.
If you can get your hands on an S197 GT, the 4.6L has alot of room to grow with all sorts of mods that will get you more than into 12's

Personally, I'd go with an S197. They are a bit more expensive than the SN95's, but personally I like them a lot better. To me they just have more of that classic Mustang look. But in the end you just have to do what makes you happy.
