Default Hi from New Orleans, Its a sad start.

Like it says hello from New Orleans, let me start by saying I have been looking at the same 2010 Mustang GT with the Premium Package for three weeks now. Two days ago I bought the car, picked it up at 5pm and drove it home loving the car. Latter that night me and my buddy go for a ride to a local dealer so he can look at a new Camaro. Anyways on the way there on the interstate some JACKASS decides he wants to tailgate me then try's to go around me as he does he finds a car in the lane that he wants and ends up coming back into my lane clips my back and puts us into a tail spin then into the wall and he is long gone never stoped what an ***. I got to enjoy my new car for less then 6 hours so now the wait starts to see if it will be a loss or will they repair it, here are a few pics, thanks for reading my post this is not how I wanted to end my 2010 and loose my car.

That is awful. Sorry to hear it. Can't entirely tell from your pics but it appears the car may have damage on almost every panel. I've had experience with body repair for over 16 years and I'd say you may have a candidate for a total loss.

Dang, that's a sad story! I honestly think I would have cried...

I guess it's not that bad when I have to wait another three months to drive mine. (BTW, I only was able to drive it for two weeks before winter set in!)

Welcome to the forums though. There's a ton of people here to help you out.

Welcome to the board!

What you can do, that is if the Insurance thieves declare a total loss, is to buy the car back from the insurance company, for some deduction in your settlement money.

Then, depending on Louisiana law, which is based primarily on the Napoleonic Code (that's right, old early 1800 French laws made by Napoleone Bounoparte, which is the correct and proper way to spell his name by the way), you might be able to sue the driver at fault for the difference to fix your car to return you to the point that you were at before the collision.
