New owner 2011 v6
Hi,
Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I just bought a new 2011 V6 Mustang. This is the first time i own a ford car and a mustang. So far i absolutely love the Mustang and couldn't be happier with it (never thought i would like a car this much). I pretty much don't really know anything about cars, so I'm here to learn as much as possible.
Car:
2011 V6 automatic, 2.71 axle (i live in a area where traffic is crazy so auto was the best choice for me) and i also got the stripe and spoiler package. Everything else is stock.
Question: I know this might be a stupid question but since i never owned a sports car and never did any modifications to my previous car i don't know where to go to get modifications for my car. Do i go to the ford dealership? or find a performance dealer that will install parts for me? (I want to get the 3.31 rear-end axle and maybe add a Borla Touring exhaust).

Welcome Sleipnir to MF, from beautiful British Columbia, Canada!
I would say that most of your mods should be done, at this time in your
new car's life, by the Dealership. When my car was under warranty (in '03),
the Dealer could tell me if the modification(s) would alter my warranty, or not.
You can do an awful lot of stuff to that V6'er to make it better.
Ask folks on this site to help you with some of that.
They will also 'chime in' here about what I just suggested, too.
Enjoy your stay here on MF. Lots of nice people here to help you out.
And post up some pics of your new baby...we love pics here
