Thanks topless! I've considered the convertibles too. They just look so fun!!
It was REALLY cool buying the car for my daughter. And so cool that she loves it so much even though it's not a new one. She was so excited when her daddy took her to look at it and they ended up buying it. Fortunately, she already knew how to drive a stick because of a standard transmission truck we had borrowed for awhile (she insisted on learning how to drive it), and so that just cemented our decision to get that car for her.

I think your daughter must be pretty cool to actually WANT to drive a manual trans- my first car was a manual too. Take guts!

Thanks for the awesome welcome everyone. I'm a bit bummed today because my daughter's mustang was struck TWICE today while parked in front of our house. We think it was the garbage truck, but they didn't bother letting us know.

Your daughter sounds a lot like me 
I'm 21, and this is my 5th Mustang between my husband and I, and it has to be stick, of course We've been fixing her up for a few months now, and in the works is a 5.0 swap!
My .02-Go for that V8 drop top! Nothing better than a wonderful breeze, unlimited visibility, and free A/C as you drive down the highway!
