New to the forums - 08 Roush P51A
Whats up everyone?
This is about the only Mustang forum I have not been on for some reason....after 8 Mustangs in the garage over the past 15 years, you would think I would have registered much sooner....oh well....
The newest ride is a 2008 Roush P51A that my father and I picked up several months ago.....he sold his '65 Mercury Cyclone, and I unloaded my '89 Notch so we could go halves on the Roush....
This P51 is probably the best all-around Mustang I have driven, as it handles like it is on rails, and definitely has enough power to have all sorts of fun....I still think my father is scared of it, but he is coming around....I think I am going to enter it in the American Muscle Car Show exhaust contest in a couple weeks....has such a unique, almost exotic-sounding tone with the Kooks exhaust and Roush bullet mufflers.....here are some pics:

thanks guys....planning on taking it to the strip, but I know that it will need new tires on the rear shortly....time for some drag radials...
My only complaint about the car is the shifter/console position....makes it almost impossible to power shift, and the ergonomics are a bit off....oh well, still a great car

thanks for the compliments, much appreciated guys....
Future plans are some sticky meats for the rear gauges, re-tune, and some upgraded control arms....for now, we have been enjoying it on the weekends, and even won its class at the first show we entered the car into back in June....lots of fun, for sure...
