Thank you Mustang Forums
So I just picked up a 2005 GT with only 14k miles about a week ago and already ran into a problem that was solved in about 30 minutes thanks to this forum.
As I was driving home from work today I hear tons of water pouring in the cabin on the passenger side. Look over and see about 2 inches of water. I freak out and pull into a nearby car wash.
Having never dealt with anything like this with any other car I have owned I start thinking of how there are only 14000 miles on my car, on a 2005, could this be the reason?
I got a lemon I'm convincing myself.
I start frantically sucking water out with the vacuum at the car wash in the pouring rain. I get as much out as I can and throw a shopping bag on the floor under where the leak is.
As soon as I get home I pull up this site and search for water leaks. Turns out the drain near the cabin air filter was clogged like most people with similar leaks. Quick and easy fix.
Thanks Mustang Forums, I'm back to loving my new car.
