Havent been on here in a while

Joined a couple years ago when i had a performance red 2000 gt, ended up going full bolt ons, tuned, and gears with it then sold it. Had an srt-4 after that totaled it street racing spent 2 months in a wheelchair. That brings us to now and I have a 2001 Black GT, 5 speed. With just an h-pipe and slp mufflers it did a 13.8@103, so the car is definitely a good runner. Got a heck of a deal on it a few months ago 6200 dollars for a car with 74k miles and needed paint on the hood and bumper. It's came a long way in a few months and just got put up for winter yesterday :( happy to be back on here and hopefully itll be a good ole time!

Welcome back. I still can't understand how people have the willpower to put away their stangs for the winter. I don't know what I would do without mine.

Putting your car up for the Winter all depends on where you live. Here in Maine they dump tons of salt on the roads to melt the ice. If you really care about your car and have access to a "winter beater" you are wise to take your "baby" off the road before the salt eats away at it and the frost heaves and potholes ruin the suspension. Not to mention that high powered rear wheel drive cars behave poorly in the snow...

yeah indiana weathers arent to kind to rwd vehicles. i do a lot of country driving too where they never like to actually plow the snow. i figure might as well put it up and miss driving it instead of something happen to it and then really be missing it because i dont have it anymore lol
