new to Mustangs
hey im 22 and i just bought my first mustang, i bought a 2008 gt v8 4.6l engine and im loving it. i saw some stuf that delt with the v6 engine about mods and stuff but nothing for the v8 maybe i just overlooked.
what im interested is about moding it to make it faster and to sound better.
i know absolutly nothing about mustang and probaly not that much more about cars.

There are plenty of threads asking about which route to take with performance mods. Jump into the 2005-2012 Thread and you'll find 'em.
Brief overview:
~Cold air intake/tune --- most purchase from americanmuscle.com or brenspeed.com
~long tube headers/cat back exhaust
~steeper gearing (stock gearing is 3.31s). Most members increase to 3.73s or 4.10s. Puts your car at higher rpms for increased acceleration
~suspension goodies such as upper and lower control arms, lowering springs, high performance shocks/struts, sway bars, etc
~Supercharger or turbocharger
