Default New in SC

Just picked up my new 12 V6 base coupe (6Mt). I came from a 07 Tacoma Prerunner so this experience is something I haven't had in a while. Just rolled over 1k miles today. This is my daily driver with over 60 miles a day commute.

I am looking forward to modifying my new ride when I get back from my deployment in fall!

My plans are
CAI + Tune
Axle Back, looking at Borla S or ATAK
Possibly Gears (3.73)
Possibly new Axle
18x9 wheels + tires
and a mild suspension build (looking at maybe 1" drop springs and shocks/struts to match)

I have been browsing Steeda and American Muscle as well as the forums trying to get an idea of what is out there and what will fit me best.

I guess I only have one question (w/out creating a second thread) about suspension.

I understand CC plates my be required, as well as panhard bar and strut mounts. But what else may I need to replace to make everything right? Any reliability issues I may run into that I can fix from the start?

Looking forward to the forum community and learning everything I can about my new toy!

Paul

Also,

I do not see a button to edit posts?

Hopefully some can point me in a direction for my suspension question.

Welcome to MF. You will find that certain functions become available with time. There will be places you can't go until you have 50 posts and been a member for 30 days. Others, Like PM's and editing, will come in about two weeks. As you can see from my join date I just got edit and PM options. Again, welcome and it's great to have you with us.
