Hi everyone! New Mustang owner here! I recently purchased a 2008 Mustang Sherrod 300S with a 4.0 V6. I hope to pass it down to my little boy one day! I'm very excited to modify the engine as well as the exterior. Performance wise what can I purchase to increase my horsepower? Would it just be better to install a bigger engine (if that's even possible). I've had my baby two weeks and go figure I sustained hail damage from a storm at work so she will be in the shop for approximately a week! One last question, I'm trying to get an opinion. My baby is the G9 Vista Blue color and it has grey/silver decals on the side kind of like a C with the opening in the front (I'll post a picture later this evening). That being said, do you all think I should have them replaced (they look somewhat weathered for some odd reason), or should I completely take them off? Anyways, it's great to be here and I look forward to talking to you all soon!

Welcome, and congrats! Shoot me a PM and we can discuss some parts options for you if you'd like.

Welcome! Very nice looking car I think the side c-stripes look sharp and I say keep them, especially they were part of the original package.

The V6 300S starts with deluxe Mustang GT and adds a lower Billet type lower grille, custom black wheels, a frond lower chin spoiler, side c-stripes, a rear duck tail spoiler, side fender heat extractors, and louvered C pillar louvered panels.

Thanks Sand4u! I greatly appreciate the info! I was leaning toward keeping the stripes, just needed some guidance lol
