Greetings from Switzerland
I get my (first) Mustang last Saturday. And I still have to smile when I think what stands down in the garage. :-)
As you may know, we don't get Mustangs officially in Europe, so they are all sol called direct-imports. Dealers that brings them in and make them ready for that they fit with the local DOT codes.
So as I have found out, mine comes originally from Mexico. But that seems to be a good thing. While it's a Base V6, it has the 18" from the GT, leather, heated seats, full alarm etc.
I felt over this forum here, because I have been on the search for reasons of the governed top speed, and what to do against it.
Most I read was about this "exploded" drive shaft from this one video clip. And everybody has been just talking about this. But I didn't find out if this is the only case, or if there are other known also. Maybe I'll find something when glancing here through.
You know, Germany is not far away, and there are many parts of the highway without speed limit ...
However. At the moment I'm waiting for my ordered seat rail extender, and looking around for flat white GT stripes. (Any good ideas?)
So, that's it :-)
Take care and drive safe

Welcome!
I think the issue with the "exploding" drive shaft was that they are a 2-pc design from the factory. I think if you replaced it with an aftermarket 1-pc and a driveshaft safety loop you might be ok. I'm not 100% on that though so more research is in your future.
