Funny you should say that about the stripes. I have a thread over in the detailing section about that exact thing.

I'm just not sold on the stripes for my car. The tan top and interior are somewhat of a problem. The rocker stripe doesn't exactly match the top anyway so I'm thinking it will go.

I have seen several different pics of verts with stripes, mostly with black tops. Very few with tan(saddle, parchment or whatever it is).

The PO left a bunch of swirl marks and cobwebs in the paint. I bought a PC7424 to try to fix that. I have been doing ok with it. It is looking much better but still not where I want it.

Thanks for all the compliments

I was just on a site yesterday that had some different colors for the stripes.

www.graphic-express.com

They had some beige-ish colors that might be a closer match to the parchment interior. I didn't look too closely.

Yep, I've seen that site. The don't offer the "supersnake" stripes which are the ones I am kinda partial to.

I really like the way the white looks on the blue, but then again the silver looks good against the blue. But then again neither really go with the tan top

I may end up just pulling the rocker stripes and adding a GT grille and not going with any stripes at all.

What about Sandstone or Beige? I'm with you though I had tossed around the idea of stripes but the Vista blue is such a gorgeous color when it's all clean and sparkling in the sun.

Exactly..All cleaned up and shiny the blue is awesome. And the tan top breaks it up without any stripes. Just not sold on the whole stripe idea. Besides I could use the cash from the stripes for a CAI and tuner or something else.

Yep, after seeing a before and after on it I really dig the no stripe look. I think without it it somehow makes the car seem lower to the ground.

Now to figure out how to remove a 4 year old stripe?
