New Member: Here's My Intro
Hey everyone! As you may have seen in other threads I've posted in, I ordered a 2013 base V6 last weekend, and am now in my 6-8 week waiting period until my custom-made Mustang is delivered to the dealership.
But before I get too carried away with how excited I am to finally own my dream car, a little about my car history. Until my most recent car, I've never owned anything with less than 160k miles on the odometer. Two of the four had over 200k on the clock before I even inherited them! I started out in a '93 Chrysler Town & Country, moved to a '94 Ford Escort, and then ended up in a '97 Escort. After tiring of countless repairs (great learning experience, though), I finally bought my first new car a year and a half ago - a 2011 Ford Focus. I became part of a Focus community online, and that's when the modding bug hit. I started small, but then I got really into it. Here are a few before and after pics:

The reason my car became known as Grim was because of a certain aspect of the interior, which will be transferred into my Mustang:
Ever since I drove my first Ford Escort (which was a manual transmission), I've refused to own another automatic. I've never looked back.
When I bought my Focus, it was a toss up between the Mustang and the economical sedan. It was a hard decision, but (obviously) I decided to go the route of the Focus. After I saw the pictures and standard features of the 2013, however, I instantly caved in. The moment I test drove the V6, I knew I had to have it. So one week passed, it ate away at me...and then last Saturday I ordered my very own!
I went for a black interior/exterior base V6 with the reverse sensing/anti-theft package and the V6 performance package. I really am going crazy with waiting this long! Here's a picture of how it will look according to the Ford build site:
I'm happy to be a part of the community, and can't wait to post pictures once I take delivery of my very first Mustang!
