Back after many many years without a mustang!
Prior to today I had not visited this site since 2008. I was pretty excited to see my account is still active. Anyways, I had a 97 for a while, it was wrecked for me and was replaced by a 2001 bullitt. Sadly I had to let that car go due to a new family and that began my roughly six year hiatus from owning a mustang.
That changed the other day when on a complete whim I got on craigslist and typed in "notch"
One of the first results was a 92 notch police interceptor, white with black interior. Pretty rough around the edges, but it's nothing that cannot be brought back from the brink. Within hours I had purchased the car and drove it home. Upon closer inspection it has a unknown cam, a B and M short throw, drone masters, and mac shorty's on it.
I plan to get new wheels and tires drive it occasionally and start by completely redoing the suspension and reinforcing the torque boxes right off the bat.
Eventually going to a turbo'd 306 and hopefully a t-56 to back it and painting the car dark highland green once it is mechanically solid.
Which brings me to my first question, I was hoping to order my wheels from american muscle in the next few days but I don't seem to have PM messages anymore?
Glad to be back, look forward to spending lot's of time here again!
