Welcome and GL.I would look the car over really good and if it's something you can tackle I would say go for it.However to fix it up like you want to is going to take quite a bit of time.As long as you're prepared to wait for awhile to get it there.Also like the other guys have said if you can spend some more money,you'll find a car that doesn't need as much work.The more stock they are the better.

Personally I would stay with the later model efi fox. You can find them in pretty good shape in stock form for around $2500.
