About three weeks ago I purchased a 2013 V6 Premium convertible - Red Candy Metallic.
My brother owned a '67 convertible when we were in school and I've wanted one for...gads, close to forty years now. So, my youngest got married in May and I decided it was time:
Either the car, or a boat.
Don't fish. Can't swim.
I enjoyed the car for a week before a kid rear-ended me on the Beltway. Damage to the rear bumper, back-up sensor, no harm to the body. Other guy's insurance is paying for the whole thing, of course.
But...
Parts! It's taken over a week for the shop to collect all the parts for the car - there are brackets and fasteners and bezels and what-all for the '13 that aren't even in their database yet.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to picking the car up - hopefully tomorrow - and getting back on the road.
Real glad to be here.

Thanks, everyone.
You know, maybe I'm too superstitious - I don't think I'd exhaled since driving the car off the dealer's lot, and my third reaction to the hit (after general disbelief and dismay) was something like "Okay, that's out of the way."
More seriously, this looks like a great place - I've been reading the forums for about a week.
