New guy from South Carolina
Just joined and trying to get my post count up for the classifieds.
About a month ago my 1994 Volvo daily driver blew a head gasket at 218000 miles. I decided it was time for a new one and I decided to buy a truck. With a $5000 budget in mind I began my search. I started looking and noticed a lot of affordable Mustangs in the area and I want a diesel truck for towing and they were all out of budget. So I talked my wife into a Mustang and began looking at fox body trunk cars. I found a few and last week I found an ad for a 2000 GT in my price range. I test drove it last Tuesday and Friday I bought it.
So $4000 later I'm the new owner of this 2000 5 speed with 117000 miles
I'm fairly new to Mustangs so expect a lot of questions. All my experience so far has been with my other car, 67 chevelle SS 396
My plans for the car are eventually autox/track car. But with a son turning one next week it will be a long term goal. So for now I just want it to be a fun car to drive.

hi there Im am also a new guy to the MF family, and also aquirred a 2000 mustang V6, as for the new guy where abouts in south carolina, im stationed in columbia with the airforce. my goal is to put Mysteeds kit on my mustang for alittle get and go with a unique look. my car is already unique and looking to keep adding on. will post pics later after i get off work, forgot to say im also deployed in the sandbox with a month left, cant wait to get home to my wife and my baby(car) lol
