ok i have a few questions.. i have a 95 gt.. it has a t5 which i hate.. i want to switch to an automatic and it is my daily driver so time is a huge factor.. id imagine with the right direction i can do the swap.. my question is.. should i go with a c4 or an aod.. i rarely do highway driving so a three speed c4 is ok.. i am just searching for easiest poosible swap to an auto.. i have found a donor car.. same year.. same everything except it has an aode.. is the swap fairly easy? all my common sense says do the aode swap just in case i need to go on the highway but from what ive seen on the forums the c4 is the easiest and fastest to do.. also the shifter position doesnt matter much as long as everything works.. i have a few things i have not put on yet and there is not reputable shops where im at.. charleston sc.. i happened to come across an mp70 turbo, e303 etc etc.. right now im having problems with the t5 because i let an idiot change my clutch and he didnt change the pilot and throw out bearing and certainly didnt recut the flywheel so now i have all kinds of noises and its hell to get in gear after it heats up.. i dont wanna go and pay to redo my clutch when i want an auto anyway.. what is the best guidance someone can give me..

Best would be to just trade someone for an auto car, less headache, no down time, cause if you try to swap, your gonna need the auto computer and the shifter, shift cable, brackets for all that mess, a c4 gearing and only being a 3 speed your gas mileage is gonna be noticeably worse.

Sale it, buy a auto because manual GTs are far more wanted after than automatics. You may even be able to trade it for a automatic car.

you could swap it but you would need the ecu for automatic trans since your ecu is set up for a manual trans but i think your better of using aod
