Hey guys, first time mustang owner.
Ive been lurking for a bit and just wanted to stop in to say hello. I recently picked up a 2012 5.0 used but new to me. Its a base with the track package.
Come from a long line of modified WRX's and STI's. A 2005 Legacy GT 5mt is my daily driver/truck. Makes 300whp/340wtq, weighs 3200lbs, and gets ~26mpg on the highway, and is very well setup. I am an avid outdoors enthusiast/biker, so this is my do it all car.
The 2 together.
My mustang is my weekend car. I like doing everything, drag, track, and auto-x. So far it is very fun and overall a pretty impressive car. Took it to the track last weeked to see what it would run stock and ran a 12.76@112.33mph.
Has a couple of mods i felt were necessary. GT500 axleback's, really gave the car a nice sound with out being obnoxious. The other is a Boss steering wheel. Good GOD the base wheel is such a pile. The Boss is much nicer, got it cheap and flashed the codes already so that i have all steering wheel buttons working.
Overall the mustang has proven cheap and easy to work on, has been a good value, and an all round fun car thus far. We'll see if that is still the case as i dive into more things. Im impressed with the power out of the stock motor, but the suspension and handleing certainly needs some warming over to get more to my taste(not many stock cars dont need this though for me).
Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Welcome.. I don't know what makes that a Boss wheel.. That's the same one as the prumium package and the one I have on mine.. You're right though, that base wheel looks like crap, ha..
I'd like to hear about your scoobies sometime.. The Legacy sounds like a fun little car..
