Default Looking to get into the Mustang community, need some advice!

Hey guys, I currently have a 2011 Camaro RS (v6) and I'm thinking about selling it to try to get a 05-08 Mustang GT. I love my car, but I like the better selection of aftermarket parts for Mustangs, and I think the car just suits me better. Not to mention I'd really love a v8. Now my question is do you think this would be a good trade? I'd be losing gas mileage and possibly some power until I added in some mods. Do you think I'd be able to get a good 'Stang for the price? I'd love to hear from some people that have some firsthand experience. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum, be sure to check out the Carolina chapter section. Of course you know we are a bit biased to Mustangs. You can definitely get a good car at a good price if you will be patient. Good luck and be sure to let us know what you come up with.

Welcome to MF and I agree with what Alan said.. What are you looking to spend, that would help a lot in determining what you can get..

I'd love to spend around 15-17k, I'm just worried about dependability if I get one with some miles on it. Thanks for the replies, I'll get back to you if I find the one for me!

You should be able to find a very nice one in that price range, as for reliability they are great as long as you take care of them..

You'll find one in that price range. Also, +1 on checking out the Carolina Regional Chapter. We always have something going on.

I'd think you'll be able to find one of your liking, and maybe with some mods!!

Welcome to MF!
