Presentation - Xsara VTS
Hello, my name is Rafael and I live in Brazil. I registered on the forum because I love mustangs. A pity that in Brazil is very expensive to have one. Somewhere around $ 80,000 dollars. My English is very bad, I gradually improving. Here I have a Xsara VTS 2.0 16v, it has the original 168hp, 190hp with this currently. I hope to exchange information and participate in the forum.

Welcome to the Forum!
I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Xsara is built in Brazil. Not being a smart-**** but Brazil is very Economy-centric meaning if it ain't built or made their they tax the crap out of it. Up to 80% taxes on the RETAIL value, not wholesale or production value. Thus the $80K for a Mustang.
I work for a company that sells globally and over the last few years Brazil has made things even more difficult to export (import for themselves).

Cars that are manufactured in Brazil and sold to other countries can be sold cheaper outside than inside the same parents.
