Just got the second Mustang in my life. First was a 65 Fastback that my brother towed up from Alabama about 20 years ago. It was a $1000 heap with no floors or most of interior, but it was a 289 4bbl 4 spd that, after 2 years turned out pretty nice. Painted Candy Red, looked sharp. Sold it when my wife and I started building a new house, wish I kept it now! Just recently bought a used 2012 V6 convertible. Lava red, premium, saddle interior. Looks much better in person than pictures. Was a rental lease from Orlando area, brought up to Carlisle Pa. There are no other Lava red or saddle interior mustangs around here, so makes me feel a little less "one of the crowd". I put on flat black hood spears and an airaid cold air intake. Next will be maybe front fender "hash stripes" but don't know what color, and maybe a dash kit to make center console match the brushed aluminum dash. Want to put a subwoofer in the trunk but have to figure out shaker 500 wiring for that. (I put post in audio, if someone knows). Saving for Borla S axle back exhaust and maybe new wheels. Really don't like stock wheels but have to wait to convince wife (after exhaust) That's about it. I really enjoy driving, especially the sound of the CAI. Just turned cold so no top down till next year, but so far I love the car. Felt a little tinge of remorse not buying the GT 5.0, but 305HP and 34 mpg on highway along with cheaper insurance makes up for it.
