New 'Stang owner in Central Florida
Morning!
So, the wife wanted a convertible for her 40th birthday. There were a few requirements - inexpensive (it's a third car), COOL, and a stick. We found a beauty for $3k - 1997 v6. Has 128k on the engine with no mechanical issues. Paint is in great shape - interior need a bit of sprucing up, driver's side seat belt needs to be replaced (it's really frayed) but looks a lot better after a thorough cleaning. Guess the only bad thing is that the previous owner decided she wanted a "GT", so badged it as a GT and replaced the rear bumper with a GT one. (I don't think I can post pictures yet - but will as soon as I can). I live about a hour north of Orlando but work downtown when not traveling. Nice to meet ya'll... |
Hi, congrats and welcome.

If it still looks good on the outside and is mechanically sound, then that sounds like a great buy for 3K! Good job, I know she'll enjoy it. Convertible for life, baby!
