Default Hi all new member!

I'm ready to start on my grand pops 73 mach 1. Found your forum and decided to join to find tips and info. I'll post pics of the car if I can figure out how to do it from my phone lol. Hope to hear any input. Car had 74k on it. My uncle bought it off my grand pop right before he died from cancer in 95. He drove it for a year then parked it under a pine tree and left it rot. Finally got him sell it to me for 2grand. Such a shame car was beautiful until he got it...

welcome to MF and shame to hear it was left to rot.. but I'm sure you'll restore her beautifully.

Welcome and good luck with the restoration. 10 years is a long time to sit outside. Hopefully you can get it up and running so you can start enjoying it! Just be sure to take care of the safety items first like brakes and fuel lines. And inspect the wiring closely, mice chew everything and you don't want an electrical fire.

Would also check the fuel pump once you get it up and running. When I first bought my 72 Mach 1 it was leaking fuel out of its pump. Lucky it was spraying down and not up into the headers or that would of been a huge problem.

Depending on what engine it has the fuel pump if your looking down at the engine from the front of the car. It will be on the right hand side kind of down low on the engine. If your running a 351 Cleveland that is.
