Soon to be owner
After owning my Dodge Challenger for a little over a year, with two years worth of headaches from the dealer. I decided to go car shopping Saturday.
Went to the local ford dealer test drove a couple of Mustangs. Although I was totally blown away by the GT, reality kicked in and I came back down to earth and decided to go with a V6 for the fuel economy and cheaper insurance.
I picked out a 2103 V6 Premium with Saddle Leather and 6 speed M/T. Color is Red Candy Metallic.
I was very pleased to find that unlike a Challenger, the mustang has lots of mods available.
I lost a little money on the trade, but I will be able to get out of the Challenger (which by the way is a v6 as well) and into the Mustang and very little difference in payments.
All the negotiating is done, just waiting to talk to the bank tomorrow and see if we can get it done.
Hopefully will be driving the Mustang by the end of the week.

Most of the issues were cosmetic issues. Headliner in the car was not fit properly, Rust coming from center caps of wheels, windsheild was not sealed properly. Nothing mechanical or major. Most of the headaches were with the dealer. Ended up having to get Chrysler and the dealership owner involved to get the headliner issue fixed.
On more than one occasion had to be put on a list for a loaner car while mine was in the shop, which usually was 3 to 4 week waiting list.
I really didn't have any options as they are the only Dodge dealer within 50 miles of where I live.
Don't get me wrong, the Challenger is a nice car, and I like the style and ride of it. Unfortunately after being treated like crap for the last year by the dealer, I decided to go a different route.
So now I'm putting all that behind me and moving forward.
